Total Area and Regulations by State

The total hunting area in the state of Carolina is 1380,000 acres which accounts for 4.4% of the total area of the state. Bowhunting in North Carolina can only be carried out by longbows and recurve bows with a minimum draw of 40 pounds. For compound bows, minimum draw is reduced to 35 pounds, and for crossbows, it is 100 pounds at least. Arrows should have a broad head at least  ⅞ inches wide to be legal.
